أكد البرتغالي جوسفالدو فيريرا المدير الفني للفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي الزمالك، أهمية مباراة الترجي التونسي المقبلة، في بطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا.

الزمالك يواجه الترجي، غدًا الثلاثاء، على استاد برج العرب، في الجولة الرابعة من دور المجموعات ببطولة دوري الأبطال.

وقال فيريرا في المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عقد اليوم قبل المباراة: “هذه رابع مباراة للفريق في دور المجموعات والزمالك في وضع سيء”.

وتابع: “مباراة الترجي صعبة ومجموعتنا في البطولة قوية جدًا”.

وأضاف: “كنا الأفضل في لقاء شباب بلوزداد الجزائري ولكن خسرنا بركلة جزاء، وفي مباراة المريخ السوداني في الجولة الثانية كنا أفضل وكان بإمكاننا الفوز، ولكن الزمالك خاض اللقاء في ملعب صعب وتعادلنا”.

وأكمل: “مجمل أداء الزمالك في الثلاث مباريات الماضية كان جيدًا، ولكننا لم نستطع أن نحرز أهدافًا في المباريات الماضية التي خضناها في دور المجموعات”.

وأوضح المدير الفني أن لقاء الغد بمثابة بداية جديدة، والزمالك في موقف سيء وسيعمل على إيجاد حلول من أجل الفوز رغم صعوبة المباراة وقوة المنافس الذي يمتلك 9 نقاط في رصيده.

وأشار: “ليس من السهل أن نؤكد أن هناك سوء توفيق في الأداء فقط لأن الأمور متشابكة، والفريق مر بفترة صعبة، وعندما تكون النتائج غير جيدة يكون هناك ضغط أكبر بسبب تراجع النتائج”.

وشدد المدير الفني على أن هناك قلة ثقة لدى اللاعبين بسبب تراجع النتائج والجهاز الفني يسعى لإعادتها، وهذا ما نحرص عليه في التدريبات.

وأردف: “نحتاج للفوز في مباراة الترجي كي نعود لمستوانا المعهود، خاصة وأننا نواجه ضغوطًا بعد التتويج بالدوري مرتين متتاليتين، وأتمنى أن يكون اللاعبون على قدر المسؤولية ويحسمون الفوز في لقاء الغد”.

واختتم: “أتمنى تواجد الجماهير غدًا بكثافة لمؤازرة الفريق، وأن نخوض المباراة بأداء قوي وشراسة ويكون التوفيق حليفنا”.

ويحتل الزمالك المركز الأخير في المجموعة الرابعة برصيد نقطة وحيدة بعد خوض 3 مباريات، بينما يتصدر الترجي الترتيب بـ 9 نقاط، ويأتي المريخ ثانيًا بـ 4 نقاط، بينما يتواجد شباب بلوزداد في المركز الثالث بـ 3 نقاط.

Pat Cummins, the Australia fast bowler, will join the Under-19 squad for the quadrangular series in Townsville beginning next week, as he bids to return to the senior national team after a long injury lay-off due to a bone stress injury in his foot.”Pat is at an advanced stage of his rehabilitation and we feel he will benefit from bowling in a competitive environment,” CA physiotherapist Alex Kountouris said. “He’ll be on a restricted program and is being taken to Townsville so we can continue his progression and introduce some competition time.”He won’t play in every match or bowl his full allocation of overs, but will undertake a program that will allow us to carefully manage his involvement in the squad’s training and matches.”Cummins, 18, made an outstanding start to his Test career in November 2011, when he took seven wickets and was Man of the Match on debut in Australia’s victory over South Africa in Johannesburg. However, he hasn’t played a match since then and was ruled out of Australia’s entire home summer of internationals as well as the ongoing tour of the West Indies due to a heel injury.The quadrangular series will be played by U-19 teams from Australia, England, India and New Zealand between April 5 and 15. It will be used as a warm-up up event ahead of the U-19 World Cup in Queensland in August.

كشفت تقارير صحفية بريطانية، أن الدولي السنغالي، إداردو ميندي، حارس مرمى الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي تشيلسي، لم يتوصل لاتفاق بشأن تجديد عقده.

وينتهي عقد ميندي الحالي مع تشيلسي في صيف 2025، ولم يعد لاعبًا أساسيًا مع المدرب جراهام بوتر، بعد إصابته في يناير الماضي.

صحيفة “تايمز” البريطانية، أكدت بأن تشيلسي أجرى محادثات مع اللاعب لتجديد عقده، لكن ميندي لم يحرز أي تقدم في مفاوضاته، ويبدو أنه يفكر في المغادرة.

وأشارت التقارير إلى أن مالك تشيلسي تود بوهيلي، لا يريد أن يجعل هناك لاعبين مهددين بالخروج، ومنذ وصوله في الصيف يسعى لتمديد عقد جميع اللاعبين الذي يريدهم المدير الفني في الفريق.

Munaf pleaded guilty to the Level 1 offence and was fined by the match referee Raju Mukherjee.This is Munaf’s second offence in this tournament, after he was fined 25% of his match fee in the game against Deccan Chargers in Visakhapatnam. Munaf was appealing for the wicket of Kumar Sangakkara, who was bowled off the inside edge, but was initially denied the wicket by the on-field umpires. Munaf and Harbhajan both argued with the umpires, who eventually referred the decision.

كشفت تقارير صحفية أن نادِ برازيلي أبدى رغبته في الحصول على خدمات روبرتو فيرمينو لاعب ليفربول، الذي سيصبح وكيلًا حرًا بنهاية الموسم الحالي.
