Se jogando em casa o Inter não vem convencendo, não é o mesmo quando a equipe atua fora de Porto Alegre. O Colorado foi à Fortaleza e bateu o Ceará por 2 a 0 e com autoridade. Os gols marcados por Pottker e Nico López encerraram um jejum de cinco jogos sem um atacante balançar as redes pela equipe. Com o resultado, os comandados de Guto Ferreira subiram para a quinta posição na tabela, com 21 pontos e encostados no G4. O Ceará caiu para sétimo, com 18.

Sem vencer há duas partidas e somando exibições ruins, o Inter veio muito pressionado para o jogo. O Ceará ocupava a sexta posição, o que fazia da partida um confronto direto por uma vaga no G4 da competição. E o Vozão esperava usar o poder da torcida presente no Castelão para afundar ainda mais o Colorado na situação de crise que vivia.

No começo do jogo as duas propostas ficaram bem claras. O Ceará tomava a iniciativa do jogo e tentava afundar o Inter no seu campo defensivo, que, por sua vez, recuava e tentava sair rápido em contra-ataques. Na primeira chance que teve, o Colorado abriu o placar. Edenílson recebeu lateral dentro da área e rolou para a pequena área. Lá estava William Pottker, completamente sozinho para empurrar para dentro.

O Ceará sentiu o gol e o Inter aproveitou o momento para fazer o segundo. Aos 19 minutos, Everson salvou duas vezes em chutes de Winck e William Pottker. Na terceira, Nico López pegou forte de fora da área e acertou o ângulo do goleiro alvinegro. Um lindo gol no Castelão. Dois minutos depois, quase o terceiro, com Pottker. O atacante, porém, acertou o travessão. Acontecia uma avalanche colorada e o Ceará nada conseguia fazer para contê-la. Se o ataque do Inter não marcava há cinco jogos, marcou duas vezes em 20 minutos.

Depois, os papéis se inverteram. O visitante controlava a posse de bola, enquanto que os mandantes tinham dificuldades em criar oportunidades. Apesar de ter equilibrado um pouco no fim, o apito final do primeiro tempo foi um alívio para o Ceará, que podia ter ido para o vestiário perdendo por mais que dois gol de diferença.

O segundo tempo começou como o primeiro. O Ceará, precisando urgentemente de gols, tentava pressionar a saída de bola da equipe gaúcha, que se fechava e esperava a melhor oportunidade para atacar. A dupla de zaga formada por Klaus e Cuesta funcionava muito bem, evitando que o adversário conseguisse chegar com perigo. Danilo Fernandes pouco trabalhava no jogo, e o Inter tinha total controla da partida.

Só a partir da segunda metade da etapa final que o Ceará voltou a ameaçar. Conseguia trocar mais passes perto da grande área e arriscava chutes perigosos de fora da área. O Inter, por outro lado, abdicou de atacar. Já não havia mais a ligação entre meio e ataque, e o Colorado ia ficando mais acuado, saindo na base do chutão. O placar de 2 a 0, no entanto, passava tranquilidade.

Acabou que o Vozão não teve força para reagir. A formação mais defensiva de Guto Ferreira deu certo, e no final, a equipe gaúcha até conseguiu ficar um pouco com a bola e controlar a partida. Podia até ter feito o terceiro com Winck e Diego, mas ambos perderam cara a cara com o goleiro Everson. O placar final de 2 a 0 colocou o Inter na quinta posição, com 21 pontos e colado no G4. Já o Ceará caiu para sétimo, com 18.

Cuca considera que o empate em 2 a 2 entre Flamengo e Palmeiras foi o resultado mais justo nessa quarta-feira, na Ilha do Urubu. O técnico do Verdão apenas se incomodou com a atuação do árbitro Jailson Macedo Freitas (BA), que deu nove cartões amarelos ao Verdão.

– É incomum e desnecessário (o número de cartões). O critério não foi o mesmo. O cartão que ele deu para o Dudu é brincadeira, está louco… E para o Flamengo muitos poderiam ter sido dados, mesmo tipo de jogada. O critério foi completamente diferenciado de uma equipe para a outra. Alguns cartões nós merecemos tomar, mas alguns não foram merecidos. Aí você perde quatro jogadores… Tem que lamentar mesmo. Hoje foi muita confusão do Jailson (árbitro), pendendo muito, neste aspecto, contra nós – criticou o técnico.

Dos nove palmeirenses amarelados, quatro estavam pendurados:Dudu, Tchê Tchê, Borja e Michel Bastos. Eles não poderão enfrentar o Sport, domingo, na Arena Pernambuco. Mais desfalques para um time que ainda não conseguiu ser definido.

– Daqui a pouco a gente vai ter mais jogadores à disposição. Daqui a pouco tem Deyverson, Moisés, Jean… São jogadores que encorpam muito, a nível de titularidade. Eu não tenho pressa em definir a equipe. Daqui a pouco faço um grande jogo e sei que as peças são essas. Hoje fizemos algumas coisas diferentes, como no primeiro tempo o Michel pela lateral, o Bruno e o Tchê Tchê, sem aquele volante pegador, para termos uma condição de jogo. Foi ruim, foi muito ruim, tudo. Fizemos dois gols no primeiro tempo, mas não podemos nos iludir. Foram as únicas chances que tivemos, o Flamengo foi muito melhor no primeiro tempo. Se faz 2 a 0, mata o jogo, e teve muitas chances para fazer – analisou.

– No segundo tempo, estabilizamos com o Thiago, passamos o Michel para a ponta esquerda e o Zé para a lateral, mais defensivo. Encaixou muito bem o sistema defensivo, o Flamengo teve o pênalti e mais um chute do Trauco de fora da área, não me lembro de mais alguma chance. Nós tivemos quatro, cinco, algumas na cara do gol. No último lance entramos em dois contra o goleiro e não fomos felizes na escolha, nem no arremate. Criamos mais que o Flamengo no segundo tempo. O segundo foi melhor que o primeiro e por isso o resultado acabou sendo justo. O Flamengo poderia ter matado no primeiro e nós no segundo, eles poderiam ter convertido o pênalti e nós aproveitado alguma das chances que tivemos – completou.

Com 23 pontos, o Palmeiras é o quinto colocado, a 15 pontos do Corinthians, o líder. O jogo contra o Sport está marcado para as 16h de domingo e é válido pela 16ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro.

Havia uma cláusula que dava ao Verdão a preferência para comprar outros 25% dos direitos por R$ 5 milhões, mas o clube preferiu não exercê-la e o Criciúma segue dono de 75%.

Plenty of supporters seems to be aggrieved with players like vice-captain Harry Kane, venting their frustrations on social media, but the England talisman had very little service throughout and he was not at fault for Arsenal’s dominance in their own penalty box.

Nuno must think twice before trusting Sanchez again.

O Santos irá treinar na Vila Belmiro na véspera do clássico contra o São Paulo, que ocorrerá no domingo, às 19h, no mesmo palco, pelo Campeonato Brasileiro.

A ideia é que os jogadores reconheçam o gramado e ajustem o posicionamento no palco em que o jogo ocorrerá.

كشف الكندي روي رانا المدير الفني لمنتخب مصر لكرة السلة موقفه من الاستمرار مع الفراعنة خلال الفترة القادمة.

ويستعد منتخب مصر لكرة السلة لخوض المرحلة النهائية من التصفيات المؤهلة لكأس العالم 2023.

وقال روي خلال تصريحات عبر برنامج “الماتش” على قناة “صدى البلد”: “مسئولو اتحاد السلة رائعون للغاية، لدينا رغبة في التوصل لاتفاق وتجديد عقدي مع المنتخب المصري”.

وأضاف: “متحمس للبقاء مع منتخب مصر ولدي كل النية للاستمرار، نحن في وضع أفضل الآن”.

وتابع: “عملي مع الفريق الياباني لا يؤثر تمامًا على عملي مع منتخب مصر، في كرة السلة حول العالم 80 أو 90% من المدربين يتولون مهمة تدريب فريقين في وقت واحد”.

وواصل: “واثق من أنني سأقدم مستوى جيد دومًا مع المنتخب المصري، لن تكون هناك أي أزمة في العمل مع المنتخب المصري والفريق الياباني، وأتمنى ألا يؤثر عملي الثاني على رغبة الاستمرار مع المنتخب المصري”.

وعن أزمة مباراة منتخب الأردن الودية التي انسحب فيها المدير الفني منذ أسابيع قبل تصفيات كاس العالم، أوضح: “المنافس قرر عدم استكمال اللقاء واصطحب لاعبيه خارج الملعب”.

وأكمل: “أنا لا أدعم هذا الأمر وهذا ضد الروح الرياضية، ويعتبر شيء مهين لمنتخب مصر ومدربه، لا أحب هذه الألعاب الذهنية التي يلعبها المنافسين، أنا هدفي لعب كرة السلة فقط، فعلنا الأفضل لمصر وعدنا لاستكمال المباراة”.

وأردف: “مواجهة السنغال كانت الأصعب لأنهم هزمونا في المرحلة الأولى من التصفيات، قدمنا مجهودًا خرافيًا، لم نتوقع الأداء ولكن بذلنا كل ما لدينا من أجل الفوز، نحن منتخب مصر، سمعة الفراعنة أننا قادرين على الفوز لأننا نملك المواهب الجيدة”.

وعن حضور الجماهير في برج العرب، قال: “كان أمرًا هائلًا وشعرت أنا واللاعبين بالطاقة لحضور الجماهير وأثر علينا بالإيجاب، نحن متصدرين قائمتنا ولذلك نحن فريق مرشح لكأس العالم، فرصنا قائمة للتأهل للمونديال”.

What’s the story?

Reports in recent weeks and months had suggested that Dean Smith’s side were ready to rival fellow Premier League outfit West Ham in a move for the England international.

Now, The Times have delivered an update on Lingard’s situation, name-checking Villa as one of the teams who registered their interest in luring Lingard away from Old Trafford.

The report adds that the midfielder has in fact rejected a new contract offer from United over concerns over playing time this season, and that he is ready to run down his deal unless he is given assurances by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Would be superb at Villa

Lingard’s current contract comes to an end next summer, meaning that he would be able to leave on a free transfer, and what a bargain that would be for Johan Lange and co at Villa.

After joining West Ham back in the January transfer window on a short-term loan, Lingard racked up an incredible nine goals and four assists in just his first ten Premier League games for the club – it was no surprise then that he was lauded as being “absolutely phenomenal”.

The England international’s ability to score goals from midfield is something which could add a different dimension at Villa, and it’s a knack that Michael Carrick was quick to praise back at Old Trafford.

The United coach said: “He senses where the space is and how to use it. I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s a dribbler with skills and tricks but he’s dynamic. How he plays, he is unique in some ways. You don’t see so much of that now as everyone wants to get on the ball. Off the ball, he’s very effective.”

His performances with the Hammers showcased the kind of impact the £75k-a-week earning star can have when he’s on song and the confidence is flowing through his veins.

Giving him an opportunity to shine at Villa, where the spotlight is understandably less than somewhere like United, could offer him the kind of freedom that sees him become a really consistent performer and break back into the England side under Gareth Southgate.

He’s a player the club must surely go back in for after their initial summer approach. Given that he would be available on a free once the season ends, or for a knock-down price in January, Villa could strike gold either way.
