يستهدف نادي يوفنتوس الإيطالي ضم أحد لاعبي مانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي، وفقًا لتقارير صحفية.

وسبق وأبرم يوفنتوس صفقة تبادلية مع السيتي شهدت انضمام جواو كانسيلو للفريق الإنجليزي، وانتقال دانيلو للبيانكونيري.

ذكرت تقارير أن نجم مانشستر سيتي إيلكاي جوندوجان مستهدف من قبل يوفنتوس مع انتهاء عقد لاعب خط الوسط في نهاية الموسم.

ينتهى عقد اللاعب البالغ من العمر 32 عامًا الصيف المقبل حيث سيسمح له بالخروج من النادي مجانًا.

كان جوندوجان أول توقيع لبيب جوارديولا في عام 2016 وكان دائمًا عضوًا مهمًا في الفريق في آلة الفوز التي بناها الإسباني.

لكن يوفنتوس يحلق الآن في شكل دائري حيث يتطلعون إلى تعزيز خط وسطهم.

أفادت صحيفة “ّذا صن” البريطانية نقلاً عن “كالتشيو ميركاتو” أن ماسيميليانو أليجري، المدرب تحت الضغط، وحريص على إضافة المهارة والمكر إلى منتصف الملعب.

وقد واجهت السيدة العجوز بداية صعبة للموسم على الصعيدين المحلي والأوروبي، ولم يساعد أليجري بإصابات لاعبين كبار مثل بول بوجبا وفيديريكو كييزا.

إذا لم يجدد النجم الألماني عقده في الاتحاد، فسيكون متاحًا مجانًا الصيف المقبل للتوقيع على عقد مسبق مع الأندية الأجنبية اعتبارًا من يناير.

That’s according to reliable journalist Pete O’Rourke, who delivered a fresh claim on the Yorkshire giants’ interest in the Reading playmaker to GIVEMESPORT earlier this week.

“They’ve been watching him for a long, long time now,” he said. “He’s obviously somebody that they think can fit the profile of the type of player that Marcelo Bielsa does like at his disposal.”

Back in November, The Sheffield Star claimed that the Whites would rival fellow Premier League sides Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley for his signature this winter.

Meanwhile, The Athletic’s Phil Hay has previously backed the addition of a midfield maestro, even suggesting that Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa likes the look of Swift.

“I can definitely see the value in signing a centre mid in the window, partly to help this season but partly to create one less job for the summer window (which will be far more active). [It] was interesting to see John Swift linked over the weekend because Swift is someone Bielsa quietly admires.”

January swoop?

Despite the Royal’s league struggles, Swift has been one of the stars of the Championship so far this season and indeed, he rates out as the biggest creator.

As per WhoScored, he leads the goal-creating charts with nine assists and also tops the charts for key passes per game (2.9). He has also provided eight goals, which is the most of any central midfielder in the second-flight, too.

Swift’s presence would surely be instantly felt at Elland Road, considering he has bagged the same number of goals as United’s top goalscorer, Raphinha (eight), who is the only player to score more than twice in the Premier League.

Similarly, none of Bielsa’s current squad have managed more than two assists either.

The fact that the Argentinian head coach admires him is encouraging and should be enough for director of football Victor Orta and chairman Andrea Radrizzani to pull the trigger this month.

In doing so, they could well secure their manager a dream signing and one that would ultimately help the struggling Yorkshiremen in abundance.

It’s also believed that his asking price has dropped below a previously sought-after £7m, which makes him of incredible value – a bargain, really.

The Reading star, who has been dubbed a “grafter” and as being “super-talented in the past, would be an ideal mid-season signing for Bielsa. United’s hierarchy must look to seal his signature before Deadline Day on January 31st.

Those around west Yorkshire should be absolutely buzzing by the prospects of signing Swift, especially after O’Rourke’s latest claim.

Para isso, a equipe precisa apenas estar entre os sete primeiros times, já que o Cruzeiro tem vaga garantida no torneio por ter conquistado a Copa do Brasil.

Abhimanyu Mithun has leapfrogged to the national Test squad after just ten first-class matches

Abhimanyu Mithun started to take his cricket seriously just three years ago, having only played with a tennis ball till then. By the end of 2007, he was harrying batsmen on the Under-19 circuit with his pace, scooping up 37 wickets in the Cooch Behar tournament, only one short of topping the charts. He was hoping that performance would pitchfork him into Virat Kohli’s side that won the U-19 World Cup in Malaysia in early 2008. He didn’t make the cut then, though, but two years on, Mithun has leapfrogged everyone on that victorious team to make the national Test squad.He’s done that largely on the strength of his favourite tactic: subjecting batsmen to an intense scrutiny of their technique against the short ball. He also likes slipping in yorkers but is generally a hit-the-deck kind of the bowler, whose usual delivery is the incutter to the right-hander.He hit the headlines early last year when the Royal Challengers Bangalore coach Ray Jennings talked him up as an express bowler, but a quiet IPL followed. The buzz was back once the Ranji Trophy started in November; he ripped through perennial title contenders Uttar Pradesh twice on first-class debut, which included a hat-trick.In two months, Mithun made the leap from near-anonymity to national selection. In that time, he became the highest wicket-taker in the Ranji season, snaring 47 and topping off the season with dazzling performances against UP in the semi-finals and Mumbai in the finals.None of this would have been possible had his fledgling career as a discus thrower blossomed. He made it to the state-level as a teenager but couldn’t progress beyond that stage. Cricket was only a hobby till one of his friends suggested he join a cricket camp, where Mithun enjoyed the experience of bowling with the leather ball, setting in motion one of most dizzying climbs to the highest level.The son of a fitness instructor, he used to train regularly in his father’s gym in his teens which has given him the sinewy build and strength so useful for a fast bowler.Another of his strong points is the ability to send down the odd cracking delivery which surprises the batsmen even when he is not at his best. For example, in the Ranji final on a bowler-friendly track in Mysore, he was guilty of wasting the new ball by not making the Mumbai batsmen play enough, and was taken off after a four-over burst. Omkar Khanvilkar and Abhishek Nayar weren’t troubled much early in Mithun’s second spell either, but he snapped their resistance by bowling both with full, quick deliveries.Even after a barnstorming season, eyebrows are bound to be raised when someone reaches the Indian team barely ten weeks after his first-class debut. Karnataka coach Sanath Kumar is not one of those surprised by the call-up. “From day one we knew he had the potential,” he told Cricinfo. “He has the pace, bowling around 140kmh, and he has performed in every game, whether it is junior cricket or first-class cricket.”Mithun has been more of a shock bowler for Karnataka this season, rather than someone who nips batsmen out by pegging away in the channel outside off stump. “He has to start thinking about how he has to plan a batsman out,” Kumar said. “That will come with experience, and being with the likes of Zaheer Khan will teach him a lot.”Over the past decade, plenty of Indian quick bowlers have made their international debut in a cacophony of hype, only to drop their pace and turn in lacklustre performances after a couple of years. The relentless grind of the Indian team has affected the likes of Irfan Pathan and Munaf Patel, and Mithun needs to be wary of treading that route. “It is important to be focused, it is important to keep working on the fitness aspect of the game,” Venkatesh Prasad, the Karnataka seamer who was India’s fast bowling coach till recently, said. “There’s lot of distractions which come along your way when you are playing for the country but he should just keep doing what he’s been doing to be successful.”Kumar also has similar advice for Mithun. “Not only me, but Rahul [Dravid] also has said the same thing to him, ‘whatever you are it is because of cricket, cricket is the ultimate, focus on the game, all other things will come, but start focusing on other things and everything is over’, and he knows it well.”Mithun has taken the elevator to the top, but with Sreesanth likely to be fit for the second Test, the Karnataka bowler’s first stint with the national squad could be a short one. What should Mithun be looking to take away from this spell? “This should be a benchmark for him, that he’s capable of getting into the team, capable of playing for the country,” Prasad said. “He should take it as a motivational factor.”

Por fim, Kazim brilhou no último sábado ao marcar de peito o gol da vitória sobre o Avaí. O gringo não balançava a rede adversária desde 18 de fevereiro.

– Eu fechei com os jogadores logo depois do jogo falando sobre isso. O Giovanni entrou em Curitiba e, além de ajudar no jogo, fez o gol decisivo. O Kazim tenho certeza de que se tiver mais oportunidades, melhora o jogo dele. Ele precisa de jogo, mas o Jô não está dando esse espaço, porque está fazendo um ano maravilhoso. Sei que se o Kazim ganhar ritmo, vai melhorar, mas não está tendo espaço para isso. Estou muito feliz mesmo. Sei o quanto esses jogadores ouviram. Teve jogo que coloquei o Giovanni e o estádio veio abaixo reclamando. Com o próprio Kazim também ouvi “Kazim não, Kazim não”. Não desisto de jogador, e eles estão retribuindo e dando a volta por cima – comemorou Carille, na entrevista coletiva após a vitória sobre o Avaí.

Com os gols de Giovanni e Kazim, o Corinthians chegou a 14 jogadores que marcaram neste Brasileirão. The club’s official Twitter account, via RangersNews, posted a gallery of pictures from training this week and the Croatian international was in action whilst wearing festive attire.

He was absent from the matchday squad as the Gers beat Dundee United in the Premiership last weekend. Prior to that clash, Gio Van Bronckhorst revealed that he was carrying an illness, saying:

“He’s okay. He was just not feeling well. He’s not injured.”

The Dutchman did not mention him by name in his pre-match press conference for this game, but admitted that he had no new blows to deal with. He said:

“Leon (Balogun) will join in the session today and we will see if he is fit for Sunday, no fresh injury concerns.”

Buzzing

Rangers fans will surely be buzzing with this news as his inclusion in training suggests that he will be available to face St Mirren on Boxing Day. Given that he was not out with a physical injury last weekend, he may be able to come straight back into the team if he is well enough to be training at 100%.

This could be a big boost to the Gers as they were forced to play Nathan Patterson out of position at left-back last weekend. As per SofaScore, the youngster lost five of his nine duels and failed with three of his four attempted dribbles, whilst losing possession of the ball 18 times. This suggests that he was caught out defensively in terms of his physical strength and he was unable to show off his quality with the ball at his feet.

Barisic, meanwhile, has won an impressive 62% of his duels over the course of the campaign, making 2.3 tackles and interceptions per match. He has also completed 67% of his attempted dribbles, whilst creating 1.9 chances per game and averaging a SofaScore rating of 7.26 in the Premiership.

This highlights the consistent quality the defender brings to the Rangers team and why his potential return against St Mirren could be a big boost for van Bronckhorst. Fans will surely be delighted to see him in contention to feature in order to see his talent back out on the pitch, winning tackles and creating chances for his teammates.

في الموسم السابق عن المذكور، خاض كين عشر مباريات في الدوري وسجل ثلاث أهدافه.

وطلب توتنهام آنذاك من بيرنلي دفع 7 ملايين جنيه إسترليني مقابل الحصول على هاري كين، ولكن مسؤولي بيرنلي لم يكونوا راغبين في مطابقة السعر المطلوب.

وواصل: “لكن هاري كين كنت أعتقد دائمًا أنه لاعب رائع، وما زلت أرى ذلك حتى الآن، عندما أجد البعض يقلل منه في الصحافة، أقول أنكم تمزحون قطعًا”.

India batsman Yuvraj Singh hopes to play alongside Sachin Tendulkar one last time, but said that he would definitely go to watch Tendulkar’s 200th Test if he wasn’t in the squad for the home series against West Indies. On the day Tendulkar announced his decision to retire, Yuvraj had made a comeback, making a match-winning 77 off 35 balls in the Twenty20 international against Australia in Rajkot.Yuvraj made his ODI debut in 2000, when Tendulkar’s career was already more than ten-years old, and thanked him for the guidance given throughout his career.”I don’t know if I am going to have the opportunity to play with him, but if I am not playing, I will definitely come and watch,” an emotional Yuvraj said, following the game against Australia. “He never showed that he is the great Sachin Tendulkar. He was always trying to be chirpy with the youngsters, although we were a bit reluctant to go up to him. Personally, he’s always guided me on and off the field about the things in my life, specially the World Cup journey, so it’s been very special. It’s tough for me to see him go.”It’s been amazing to play with him for so many years.
