O América-MG retorna à campo nesta quarta-feira para encarar a Chapecoense, no Independência, pela Série A do Campeonato Brasileiro. E o desejo da equipe mineira é conquistar um grande resultado diante do seu torcedor, segundo destacou o meia Ruy, que espera uma ótima apresentação dos mandantes neste duelo.

– A Chapecoense tem uma grande equipe e é sempre um adversário muito forte. Eles estão fazendo uma campanha parecida com a nossa até agora. O jogo tem tudo para ser bastante equilibrado durante os noventa minutos, mas queremos vencer para melhorarmos ainda mais nossa posição na tabela da Série A – disse o jogador.

Ainda de acordo com o atleta, a equipe mineira tem trabalhado para evoluir na temporada.

– Nosso elenco tem se dedicado muito para evoluir. Sabemos que o grupo pode render muito mais na sequência da temporada. A comissão técnica tem buscado isso e nós também. Tenho certeza que melhoraremos ainda mais nosso rendimento em campo após a Copa do Mundo – completou.

أعلن الموقع الرسمي للدوري الإنجليزي، اختيار ميكيل أرتيتا، المدير الفني لفريق آرسنال، كأفضل مدرب في شهري نوفمبر وديسمبر بالدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، وهي المرة الثانية التي يفوز فيها بالجائزة هذا الموسم.

وقاد أرتيتا آرسنال إلى 4 انتصارات من أربع مباريات في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، حيث فاز خارج أرضه على تشيلسي، ولفرهامبتون واندرارز، وبرايتون آند هوف ألبيون، بالإضافة إلى فوزه على وست هام يونايتد على أرضه.

وقال أوديجارد لموقع آرسنال الرسمي على الإنترنت: “إنه شعور رائع، لقد قلت مرات عديدة إن هذا الفريق لديه الكثير من اللاعبين الشباب الجائعين للبطولات، نلعب بشكل جيد مع بعضنا البعض”.

O Corinthians voltará a atuar no 4-2-4, sem centroavante de referência, na partida contra o América-MG, nesta quinta-feira, às 18h, na Arena em Itaquera, pela oitava rodada do Brasileirão. Em treino realizado na tarde desta quarta, o técnico Osmar Loss confirmou a equipe sem Roger, mas com Pedrinho e Mateus Vital.

Com isso, o Corinthians vai a campo com: Walter, Mantuan, Balbuena, Henrique e Sidcley; Gabriel e Paulo Roberto; Pedrinho, Jadson, Rodriguinho e Mateus Vital.

O técnico Osmar Loss explicou por que voltará a escalar a equipe no 4-2-4. No último jogo, contra o Internacional, o Timão atuou no 4-2-3-1, com Roger como titular.

-A escolha pela formação da equipe é em função do rendimento contra o Millonarios (derrota por 1 a 0). Gostamos do rendimento, deixando de lado o resultado. Com o retorno do Rodriguinho, poderia voltar a ter essa alternativa – afirmou Loss, em entrevista coletiva após o treino.

O Timão tem vários desfalques para a partida: Maycon, suspenso; Ralf, Renê Júnior, Clayson, Danilo, Bruno Xavier, Emerson Sheik e Romero, lesionados; Cássio e Fagner, com a Seleção Brasileira. Por outro lado, Gabriel e Rodriguinho voltam à equipe – o volante cumpriu suspensão, e o meia passou por um procedimento dentário na última sexta.

O Corinthians iniciou a oitava rodada em sexto lugar na tabela, com 11 pontos, apenas um a mais que o América-MG, que aparece na 11ª colocação.

Acabar com a dívida da Arena Corinthians é uma prioridade do presidente Andrés Sanchez, um dos idealizadores do estádio e que voltou a comandar o clube no início fevereiro. A Arena completa quatro anos de seu jogo de inauguração nesta sexta-feira, dia 18 de maio.

Após quatro anos, o Corinthians enfrenta problemas para bancar sua casa. De acordo com Andrés, o total da dívida atualmente é de R$ 1,187 bilhão. A versão do presidente já foi contestada inclusive por conselheiros, que cobram transparência sobre o contrato com a construtora Odebrecht e também sobre o montante que tem no fundo com a arrecadação das rendas das partidas.

– Tem um problema que começou comigo. Não é um problema, mas sim uma solução que é um problema até se resolver que é o estádio. Dizem que ganhei, depois falam que não tem direito para pagar. Deve R$ 1,5 bilhão, agora dizem que deve R$ 2 bilhões. O Corinthians deve hoje, com tudo, R$ 1,187 bilhão para a Caixa e para Odebrecht. O estádio custou R$ 985 milhões. Pegamos dinheiro do BNDES. O Fundo pegou e a Caixa é repassadora e depois a Odebrecht colocou mais R$ 500 milhões – disse o presidente, em recente entrevista ao SporTV.

Além de não ter vendido os naming rights, outro problema enfrentado pelo Corinthians foi o problema para obter CIDs (Certificados de Incentivo ao Desenvolvimento). Andrés reclama do ex-prefeito Fernando Haddad, que em sua gestão não colocou as CIDs no orçamento da cidade de São Paulo. O Timão pretende utilizar R$ 480 milhões de CIDs para abater a dívida.

Em relação aos naming rights, o diretor de marketing Luis Paulo Roseberg já disse que há negociações em andamento, mas Andrés não dá mais prazo para fechar o acordo “para não ser chamado de mentiroso”. O presidente tem a meta de zerar a dívida do estádio em 12 anos.

– Temos R$ 480 milhões de CIDs e agora vai entrar na segunda instância e vamos começar a vender. Ganhamos na justiça. Tem que ser pago em 12 anos. Nós pagamos R$ 6 milhões por mês, mas vendendo o CID você tem 45%, 50% (do valor do estádio). O pagamento está em dia e em 60 dias vamos refazer o acordo inteiro. Com certeza (o estádio estará pago o estádio em doze anos) – projetou Andrés.

In a contest of ordinary batting line-ups, India had the extra bit of quality to successfully chase an under-par West Indies total. West Indies seemed to lack enterprise and skill to handle India’s bowling, but their bowlers and fielders were spirited in the defence, dragging India down. The top order faltered after a quick start, but Rohit Sharma and captain Suresh Raina steadied India from 104 for 4.It was a slow and low track all right, fast becoming the norm in the West Indies now, but wasn’t treacherous enough to justify either West Indies’ total or the struggle India went through before getting there. The only batsmen that seemed at ease were Marlon Samuels, Raina and eventually Rohit. Samuels’ half-century injected some life in West Indies’ limp innings after early wickets and an extra-cautious Ramnaresh Sarwan had left them crawling to 74 for 3 in 25 overs.Raina did much the same for India with a busy effort, but it was Rohit who was the most interesting study. There were two Rohits on display. The first came out, saw Devendra Bishoo spin one across him, and started slogging at everything. That Rohit refused to work hard, and looked to slog his way out. That Rohit batted alongside Shikhar Dhawan, who scored his maiden half-century in unconvincing manner and looked liked he could get out any moment.West Indies’ brightest phase came when legspinners Bishoo and Anthony Martin kept a tight leash on the scoring, with Darren Sammy and the alert fielders providing the support cast. For 13.2 overs India didn’t get a single boundary. The edginess was apparent. S Badrinath played 11 straight dots before edging Bishoo to make it 61 for 3. Rohit’s ways rubbed off on Dhawan, who started trying to hit every ball for four, finding either an edge or a fielder. His wicket, through a slog sweep that gave Martin his maiden wicket, was a freight train coming.Rohit, though, was over the self-destructive period by then. And also a critical moment in the 24th over when a close lbw shout was ruled in his favour. He played Bishoo for the turn, and the straighter one kissed his back pad before hitting the bat. And it was right in front. The umpire couldn’t really be faulted for not being completely sure it had hit the pad first, but West Indies could claim that the DRS would have got them their man.Those early hiccups negotiated, the other Rohit was the one batting in a sweat-drenched shirt, running hard, looking to convert ones into twos, scoring his first 30 runs without a boundary. Raina came in and nudged a couple of boundaries to calm things further. Rohit’s first boundary was a treat: an inside-out chip for six off Sammy. He added 80 in 14.3 overs with Raina without looking hurried at all. Raina perished looking to finish the game in the batting Powerplay, and a physically struggling Rohit would have had to dig much deeper had Martin held on to a simple return catch from Yusuf Pathan at 189 for 5.Another half-centurion in the match, Sarwan, got off to a much better start than Rohit did, but played himself into a shell, during the other critical passage of play in the game. West Indies had got off to a start similar to India’s, losing two wickets after a quickish opening, but Sarwan’s 63-ball stand with Kirk Edwards featured 38 dots. Praveen Kumar, Amit Mishra and Harbhajan Singh – who went for 108 in their 30 overs for five wickets – bowled well, but not least because the batsmen allowed them to. Neither of the two batsmen looked to drop and run a quick single, nor was a single fielder put under pressure. Harbhajan reaped the rewards as Edwards top-edged a straighter one.Samuels, though, brought in the urgency, attacking Yusuf, becoming the first batsman to have a strike-rate of over 50. After a spell of 12 overs for 56, at 130 for 3, they asked for the Batting Powerplay. Forty-three came off the five-over block, but West Indies also lost Sarwan to a tickle down the leg side. The real blows came after the Powerplay as Raina snuck a short delivery through Samuels’ legs, and Harbhajan did Bravo in with a doosra that dipped and kicked. The rest could add only 23 to the 191 for 6 in the 45th over, providing India with a seemingly easy chase. As it turned out, it took a dehydrated, cramping-up, and a slightly fortunate Rohit to pull it off.

أكد أحمد حسام ميدو المدير الفني لفريق الإسماعيلي، أن تدريب الدراويش بالنسبة له مهمة قتالية صعبة، مشيدًا بصفقة الأهلي الجديدة.

وقال ميدو في تصريحات إذاعية ببرنامج “صباحكم رياضة”: “أركز مع اللاعبين داخل الملعب ونترك المشاكل لمجلس الإدارة، ونجحنا في الخروج بشباك نظيفة أمام البنك الأهلي، وكنا نلعب على الفوز، والمباريات المقبلة نستهدف الانتصارات”.

وأضاف: “عبدالرحمن مجدي من أفضل اللاعبين داخل الإسماعيلي، وتأثر نفسيًا بسبب المشاكل، وعقدت معه اجتماعًا في وجود نادر شوقي وكيل أعماله، وحاولنا حل مشاكله وتعاهدنا على إخراج أفضل صورة له للجماهير”.

وأشار إلى أن عبدالرحمن مجدي سيكون من أفضل وأهم اللاعبين للدراويش خلال الفترة المقبلة، ولن يتم التنازل عن خدماته، مؤكدًا أن موقف محمد الشامي وعمر الوحش مختلف عن غيرهما، بسبب قرب انتهاء عقودهما وإبرامهما اتفاقًا مع المصري البورسعيدي.

واستطرد: “لن يتم إدخال صفقة جديدة للإسماعيلي قبل أن يتم صرف مستحقات اللاعبين المتأخرة وهذا اتفاقي مع يحيى الكومي رئيس النادي، ولن أضم صفقات لمجرد الشراء”.

وتابع: “لعبنا مباراة ودية أمس وأشركت عدد كبير من الناشئين ما يقرب من 10 لاعبين، وسوف أعتمد عليهم مستقبلًا وأبشر جماهير الدراويش باللاعبين الشباب”.

وعن عدم مصافحة عبد الرحمن مجدي وصالح جمعة أثناء تبديلهما بالمباريات، قال: “لا توجد أزمة”، مؤكدًا اجتماعه بالثنائي للاستفسار، ولكنه فوجئ بأن صالح اعتذر لمجدي على جروب اللاعبين قبل الاجتماع، وأنه لم ينتبه عند خروجه.

واستكمل: “تقديمي حلقتين في البرنامج جاء بالاتفاق بين إدارة الاسماعيلي وإدارة القناة، واتفقت مع القناة على أن الفريق سيبقى  من أولوياتي، والظهور سيكون فقط حال عدم التعارض مع مصلحة النادي، ولا يوجد مدرب يجلس في الإسماعيلي أكثر مني، والأمر ليس به مشكلة، هناك أكثر من مدير كرة ومسؤولون في الاتحاد المصري وغيرهم يظهرون في البرامج، ولكن دائمًا ميدو يتم انتقاده وتوجيه الضوء عليه، وهذا شيء توقعته”.

وتطرق للحديث عن صفقة الأهلي الجديدة عبد العزيز يعقوبو: “صرف النظر عن ضم أي لاعب بسبب الكشف الطبي أمر يحدث في جميع دوريات العالم”.

واستأنف: “الأهلي يتعامل مع صفقة عبد العزيز يعقوبو مهاجم ريو آفي البرتغالي، بشكل احترافي وهذا الأمر يستحقون عليه التحية بكل جدارة”.

وأضاف: “ما حدث مع يعقوبو طبيعي وقد يرسب أي لاعب في الكشف الطبي ويتم صرف النظر عنه، وأتذكر أن حاتم الطرابلسي وقع مع آرسنال وتم صرف النظر عنه بعد الكشف الطبي، ثم رحل بعد ذلك إلى مانشستر سيتي بعقد حسب دقائق اللعب”.

وأضاف: “من الطبيعي أنه لا يتم تفعيل أي عقد لأي لاعب في العالم، إلا عندما يجتاز الكشف الطبي والحصول على موافقة التأمين على اللاعب، ولكن في مصر الأمور تدار بشكل خاطئ، والأهلي نجح في إجراء كشوفات طبية دقيقة وأحيي القلعة الحمراء في التمسك بحقوقه حال عدم اجتيازه للكشف الطبي”.

وأتم ميدو: “الإسماعيلي لن يتعاقد مع لاعبين جدد خلال فترة الانتقالات الشتوية الجارية، ومن الطبيعي أن الأهلي لن يمنحنا اللاعبين الجاهزين للمشاركة، وبالتالي سيكون الاتجاه لإخراج البدلاء والمستبعدين، وبالنسبة لي لاعبي الإسماعيلي الحاليين أفضل من الصفقات القادمة من الأحمر”.

ونوه ميدو: “الحوار الذي دار بين فيريرا مدرب الزمالك وأيمن الرمادي مدرب أسوان، عقب نهاية مباراة الفريقين، يحدث في كرة القدم، البرتغالي يحاول تحفيز منافسه أمام غريمه، ولكن المباراة بعيدة لا تزال في الدور الثاني”.

واختتم: “جملة فيريرا مع الرمادي، قيلت لي أثناء تدريبي لفريق الوحدة السعوي بعد التعادل أمام الهلال في الدوري، وجاء رئيس الهلال وقال لي سننتظر ما ستفعله أمام النصر في المباراة المقبلة، وخسرتها بعد ذلك أمام روي فيتوريا ولكن قدمنا مباراة قوية”.

On his return from England and the massive heart attack that curtailed a rich life of spin coaching and overseas travel in April last year, Terry Jenner set himself one simple goal – to live for another 12 months.To the great satisfaction and admiration of those close to him, Jenner did so, despite a severely weakened heart and a physique so changed as to be unrecognisable from the robust figure he cut in the nets when standing alongside Shane Warne.Across that final year, by necessity spent far more quietly than any of the previous 65, Jenner maintained a close relationship with Cullen Bailey, the South Australian legspin bowler he had coached since Bailey was 11 years old.Like Jenner, Bailey has not found legspin so easy an art, and at 26 he remains a battler on the fringes of the Redbacks squad. But his relationship with Jenner gave Bailey a tremendous resource and a friendship that transcended generations, all for the love of cricket and spin bowling.”I first met TJ when I was 11 years old at a spin bowling clinic. He was a huge influence on my life, and the best spin bowling coach in the world,” Bailey told . “He was a soothing influence on my career, right up until the last time I saw him before I flew up to Darwin [to play club cricket] he was always urging me to be courageous and take risks and to never stop believing in my bowling.”He talked a lot about SA cricket, he was excited about Darren Berry coming back, and was looking forward to seeing me get back into the state team. He’d say ‘you’re only 26 Bails, you’ve got years ahead of you’. He’d always find the right words.”Bailey and Jenner spent hours together, either at Jenner’s home or whichever cricket nets were most practical. At that distance, Bailey could see the common touch Jenner had, the combination of advice and enthusiasm that can allow great talents to be unlocked.”TJ loved talking about the game any chance he got,” said Bailey. “When I’d go to visit him in the summer he’d have a cigar in one hand and a glass of red in the other, and we’d sit on the back porch talking cricket until a spin bowler came on the TV, and we’d go inside, and then when his spell ended we’d go back out to the porch and he’d go back to his cigar.”At spin clinics he’d take a little kid who’d never seen the ball spin, give him a few basic tips and within minutes he’d have the ball spinning, and showing the young bowler how exciting it could be to see that spin. He always seemed to have the right thing to say to relax you or help you concentrate on the thing you needed to.”Jenner’s misadventures after his playing days have been often recounted, not least in his autobiography . Bailey said Jenner’s frankness about that time of his life contributed greatly to his rehabilitation out of it.”TJ had his ups and downs,” said Bailey. “Now and again we’d talk about the time he spent in prison and I know it did have an enormous influence on how he lived his life afterwards. He had help from friends, but the fact that he was able to re-build his life so well afterwards showed the sort of man he was. And he was always so open and honest about that period of his life.”Open and honest too about the difficulties of life after a major heart trauma. Jenner’s final year was often difficult, and eight weeks ago he seemed particularly near to death. But a final effort took Jenner past the year since his heart attack, and the final goal had been accomplished.”Over the last year or so his health would vary, some days he wouldn’t be trending too well at all but others it would be the old TJ. We’d sit and talk and he stayed razor-sharp right until the end,” Bailey said. “That was his goal, to get through another year. And he did it.”

كشفت تقارير صحفية إيطالية، أن الدولي الأمريكي ويستون ماكيني لاعب وسط فريق يوفنتوس الإيطالي، مطلوب في الدوري الإنجليزي خلال فترة الانتقالات الشتوية الجارية.

لاعب الوسط الأمريكي انضم إلى يوفنتوس منذ 3 مواسم، ولكن منذ تعاقد البيانكونيري معه، لم يتمكن ماكيني من إثبات نفسه وتعرض للعديد من الانتقادات.

Maycon está prestes a deixar o Corinthians rumo ao Shakhtar Donetsk (UCR) na janela de transferências do meio do ano, mas vem sendo titular com o técnico Fábio Carille. O volante admitiu que defender o Timão nesta situação “é diferente”.

O volante não admite, mas sabe que as partes já acertaram sua transferência na janela do meio do ano. O próprio técnico Fábio Carille chegou a dizer publicamente e afirmou que daria mais oportunidades para Renê Júnior, já de olho no segundo semestre. No entanto, ele viu o jogador se lesionar e tem deixado Maycon entre os titulares.

– A gente se cobra bastante por esses resultados. Nos incomoda bastante isso. Desde que o Fábio assumiu, passamos por isso poucas vezes. Mas já aconteceram algumas sequências sem vencer e sempre antes de jogos decisivos. É curioso, mas a gente consegue dar a volta por cima. É claro que o desgaste bate, as lesões acontecem, mas o pessoal que está no banco entra e dá o melhor. É isso que a gente precisa – afirmou Maycon, que projetou o confronto com o vitória.

– O Corinthians entra com a responsabilidade muito maior que alguns adversários, mas não nesse jogo. Contratado no começo desta temporada, Diego Souza não está nos planos do São Paulo para a sequência da temporada. O Tricolor, que pagou R$ 10 milhões ao Sport pelo meia, pretende negociá-lo em breve.

O contrato vigente com o clube paulista vai até o final da próxima temporada. O jogador, que está com 32 anos, não foi relacionado pelo técnico Diego Aguirre recentemente, contra Rosario Central e Paraná (este último, alegando amigdalite), mas ficará no banco nesta quinta-feira, contra o Atlético-PR, pela Copa do Brasil.

Diego Souza já foi sondado recentemente por alguns grandes clubes brasileiros, mas o mais interessado é o Vasco. Pesa a favor de um eventual retorno a São Januário o carinho do atleta pelo clube – a questão financeira, no entanto, é um entrave. Diego teve passagem muito marcante pelo Cruz-Maltino e foi um dos destaques na conquista da Copa do Brasil de 2011.

Publicamente, o técnico Diego Aguirre diz que tem deixado o camisa 9 de lado à espera de uma reação do jogador, exatamente com tem se posicionado a diretoria, que não esconde sua decepção pela postura do atleta dentro de campo. Mas, internamente, o meia-atacante tem apresentado números abaixo do esperado nos treinos e causou irritação quando foi escalado pelo treinador uruguaio.

A conselheiros, dirigentes já admitem que não devem recuperar o dinheiro investido no atleta de 32 anos de idade, que chegou a estar entre os cotados para disputar a Copa do Mundo. Mas, por enquanto, sua presença dentro do elenco não incomoda, já que não há queixas sobre seu comportamento disciplinar. O problema é mais o que ocorre com Diego Souza dentro de campo mesmo.
